the first cut in the lino - everything I want to keep the white of the paper, surf, St Ives houses, clouds
first two colours mixed
base layer for the sky and the grasses printed
2nd cut, grass detail, sand on the beach, horizon skyline
colour mixing
for 2nd layer of grasses and some beach sand detail
grey clouds added and an olive green to the grasses
and a 4th layer of colour added to the grasses.
next i added the wet beach
then a blue sky and some beach reflection details
the first layer of the headland
the blue sea
dark stripes to the sea
some detail to the headland
more detail to the headland, a little more depth to the grasses and it's finished.
